Recording Studio/Record Label
Analog and Digital Recording

Website
I started Monster Island in the Fall of 1994 in a tiny space in NYC's Meat Packing District. In January of 1995 I
launched the web based record label to sell White Courtesy Telephone CDs based on the impending publicity provided by a
Details Magazine article written by Rob Tannenbaum chronicling his, my and four other band members experiences over two years.
Since then the studio has moved and grown to be one NYC's premiere mid-size recording rooms with the highest quality analog
and digital recording gear available. The credit list includes, Avril Lavigne, Chaka Khan, George Clinton, Ryan Adams,
Coheed and Cambria, Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship, Richard Muller and The Takeover UK. Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend" reached the number one spot in the Billboard Hot 100 and Pop 100 in the same week. Both the singal and the album have been certified Platinum by the RIAA.
Two of Richard Muller's albums have gone multi platinum in both the Czech and Slovak Republics. In 2005 I joined thin along with Omar hakim, Will Lee, Hiram Bullock and Clifford Carter for his "44" tour.
I and currently finsihing production on the The Takeover UK's debut album due for release in 2008.

Emergency Medical Consulting
CPR and First Aid Training
|
Website
I started Emergency Medical Consulting in 1997 to meet the demand for my expertise in teaching emergency medical treatment. I became an EMT and CPR Instructor in 1990 and worked as
an EMT in New York City's 911 system from 1992 through 1997. Then again for one day in September 2001.
My experience as the busiest instructor in NYC lead to my certification as an Instructor Trainer, co-writing the NYC Regional
EMS Council's defibrillator training program, writing custom First Aid programs in response to specific fatal incidents and, in total, issued over 32,000 CPR cards.
Many have told moving stories of using the techniques they learned from me.
My client list includes hospitals, Fortune 500 corporations, Ivy League Universities, unions, small businesses and private medical offices.
I am extending my consulting to include corporate disaster response preparation and quality improvement of hospital care.
2007 started with my participation in a dramatic out of CPR save of a restaurant worker in a Cuban restaurant on my block

I initially purchased a pair of HD video cameras to develop a TV version of Tape Op magazine. That has no evolved into Monster Island TV, launching in the Fall of 2007.
While shooting the pilots, I've ended up directed and editing, several music videos, and working on some experimental art films, one, being a very unique concept shot in Times Square partnership with acclaimed director Tony Kaye.
In many cases, I shoot bands in the studio while recording them. In May 2007, I directed and DP'd a three camera shoot of 10 days in the studio with The Takeover UK. The resulting 75 hours of footage captured every final take
of each songs that will make the album.
